Youth Program

          If you have a child between the ages of four and six you qualify to become part in an exciting sport sweeping the nation.  Motocross has been around for years but until recently has it become a recognized sport in the industry, vastly gaining popularity among the younger generation and proving to be a great family activity.  We recognize the impact that motocross has on bringing families together uniting them as one and are taking action to insure that every child in the area and surrounding areas have an opportunity to enjoy this great American pastime .

          We are putting together a youth program for parents who would like to introduce their children to the sport of motocross. Children who are signed up will be placed on a team with each team  consisting of five children ages four to six who will practice once a week and compete once every other week. The races will be broke up into series one for each season of the year (Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter). The team will receive medals each time they race and trophies at the end of each series.   Each child will compete against other teams and be judged on how well they placed in the event and will then be compared to the other teammates placement in the same event.  Awards will be given according to how well the child performed on his/her team 1st thru 5th place.

This is a brand new sport to the area and a great way to improve a child's life... it's fun, exciting and promotes family values.

Getting started

Motocross can be a dangerous sport if the child is not protected properly so we require:

• Boots
• Helmet
• Goggles
• Gloves
• Jersey
• Pants

These items will be your responseabilty to provide and will be available to you at discount pricing.
The uniforms will be issued according to team color.
Average cost for full uniform is between $250 - $300 depending upon availability.

• Chest protector
• Neck guard

These items will be provided to the rider at the beginning of each season and must be returned at the end of each season. Those not returned will be charged to the parents of the rider.

Teams will be issued one 50CC motorbike to share for practice and race. All practices are free to the riders and parents. On race weekends riders are allowed one free adult - gate fees apply to all other spectators.

Getting signed up

Registration has begun for the Summer Series beginning in May.

To register please come to AmpXtreme with your child on any weekend leading up to May and have the following items:

• Drivers license
• Child's birth certificate
• Child's report card  (we believe children should make education their first priority)
• Check for uniform
